The Ranch

('The Ranch') is the new series produced by Netflix and starring Ashton Kutcher ('Two and a Half Men') and Danny Masterson ('Easy')

Both reunite after their roles as Michael Kelso and Steven Hyde in 'That '70s Show'. A series from creators Don Reo and Jim Patterson to bring a dramedy that combines humor with a melancholic view of life.

'The Ranch' focuses on Colt (Kutcher), a semi-professional football player who returns to Colorado after being away for fifteen years to help his father with the family ranch business. There he will reunite with Rooster (Masterson), his brother, and the rest of his complicated family. 

A regular target of jokes from his father and brother, due to his disastrous skills on the ranch and his disappointing career in professional football, Colt must balance his family relationships with work on the ranch.

Its plot explores the tensions between generations, as well as the clash between the rural world and modernity. With a classic sitcom structure accompanied by canned laughter, it gradually delves into more serious conflicts that break through the unseriousness of the intended structure.

Economic difficulties, loss, addictions, emotional responsibility, and, above all, the impossibility of returning exactly to the place from which one departed.
