Aaron Ashmore was born in Richmond, Canada. He has a twin brother, actor Shawn Ashmore. Aaron was born one minute before Shawn. A talent agent found them in a support group for multiple births families. The brothers started doing commercials at a young age. They still live together in Toronto. Aaron made his debut in the movie 'Married to It' and then he went to star in TV Series and TV Movies. He played Jimmy Olsen in 'Smallville' and has been chosen by Alejandro Amenábar to star in his new film, 'Regression'.
