Biography
Maria Rosario Santos-Concio, better known as Charo, is a Filipino actress, entrepeneur and producer. Her career began in acting and she earned various awards for her work in films such as 'Itim'. Later she became part of the media conglomerate ABS-CBN, and she came the president of the company in 2008, becoming the first woman president. She has also won the Manuel de León award for her work in the industry. In 2006, after 17 years when she hadn't participated in any film, she came back to cinema starring 'The Woman Who Left'.
