Biography
J. -P. Valkeapää is a critically acclaimed director since his debut with 'The Visitor', awarded in Venice. His second feature film 'They Have Escaped' premiered at the Venice and Toronto festivals. He was nominated for seven categories in the Finnish awards, of which he won four, including best film and best direction.
