Biography
Jesús del Cerro is a Spanish film producer, screenwriter and director born in Madrid in 1969. He began his career working in television, specifically in the popular series 'Médico de familia' of Telecinco, although before that he made a short film titled 'La isla de la tortuga' and directed two episodes of the series 'Más que amigos' with Paz Vega and Melani Olivares. He continued his career as a director in the series 'Policías, en el corazón de la calle', 'Compañeros' and 'Un paso adelante'.
His first feature film was 'Carlitos y el campo de los sueños', produced by Antena 3. From 2009, Jesús del Cerro continued his work in Romania, making several films such as 'Contra Timp', 'Nasa', 'Hawaii' and 'Miami Bici'. He also served as director in the Romanian TV series 'Vlad', between 2019 and 2020. Later, in 2021, he would direct 'Attraction to Paris', with Christopher Atkins ('The Blue Lagoon') , Tara Reid ('The Big Lebowski') and Dina de Laurentiis ('Dragonheart: Battle for the Heartfire').
In 2022, he would direct 'Dos vacas y una burra', also known as 'En otro lugar', with Miguel ángel Muñoz, Pablo Puyol, Esmeral Pimentel, Adriana Torrebejano, Mamen García and Mario Pardo; with a script signed by screenwriter José Luis Feito.
