'Foremost by Night' is a film about two women, in reality, two mothers and a son, who crossed paths in the most unexpected way.

The story tells the life of Vera, played by Lola Dueñas, a woman who, when she became pregnant at a very young age, could not take care of her son and had to make the difficult decision to give him up for adoption. Years later, he wanted to find him to find out if everything had gone well in his life but he found a very strange response from the institutions: his file did not exist. From that moment on he tirelessly searches for his son's whereabouts.

On the other side of the story is Cora, the woman played by Ana Torrent. In her youth she tried to have children but her doctor told her that it would not be possible and that the only way to start a family was to adopt. Currently, she is a pianist which allows her to teach the instrument to live and take care of her adopted son Egoz, who is about to turn 18.
