1:37
A fourteen-year-old teenager suffers from a self-esteem problem related to her weight, which leads her to suffer from an eating disorder and other serious problems.
'Paula' is the second film by Argentine director Florencia Wehbe. In it we meet a fourteen-year-old teenager who is involved in a spiral of low self-esteem due to her weight, which leads her to suffer from anorexia, an eating disorder that takes her health and personal life to the limit.
The obsession with losing weight quickly derives from the way in which she herself distorts and perceives her own body, which brings her problems with her family, her friends, at school and above all, with herself, leading to serious health problems.
Paula is played by the actress, also from Argentina, Lucía Castro in her first role on the big screen and in a long format. Beto Bernuéz, Liz Correa, Astor Daga, Tiziana Faleschino, and Lara Griboff are also part of the cast of this critical film.
Florencia Wehbe, in addition to directing the film, co-writes the feature film with Daniela De Francesco.
