'Cholitas' is the story of six Bolivian women who climb the Aconcagua mountain. While they are doing the trip they will spread the most beautiful values the have learned.
'Cholitas' is a documentary that tells a unique expedition. The goal is to reach the highest mountain in Latin America, which is Mount Aconcagua. The expedition is made up of six Bolivian indigenous women: Dora, Lista, Lydia, Cecilia, Yanina and Elena. They are more than climbers, they are brave women who find on the mountain a space in which they feel free, happy and alive. This is a journey of two paths: towards the peak of the mountain and towards the inside of ourselves. Through spectacular scenarios we will discover deep and endearing characters. The protagonists are accompanied by a technical team and together they will embark on a journey towards human dignity, the value of being a woman and the importance of keeping traditions alive and to love nature. With this journey into life, the spectator will open his heart to the unexplored and through the six women that will be transmitted a series of unique values.
