'[FILM]' is a Spanish fantasy comedy directed by Pablo Guerrero and starring Juan Dávila.
It tells the story of Pedro, a charmingly chaotic and deeply lonely nurse whose grey and predictable routine takes an unexpected turn when he accidentally receives a magic box with supernatural powers that seem to be straight out of a crazy dream.
This box is no ordinary gift: it grants extraordinary abilities, but with rigid rules that will test Pedro's ethics, patience and even his neurons as he tries to figure out how (and why) to use those gifts.
Guided by Gael, the enigmatic previous bearer who knows more than she lets on, Pedro embarks on a curious journey full of laughter, surprises and unusual troubles in which he will learn to use those powers not for his own benefit, but to help others... and himself.
Amid absurd situations, heartfelt moments and touches of fantasy, the film explores how facing the ghosts of the past and one's own insecurities can be, in itself, the true miracle of everyday life.
With scenes that blend the everyday with the magical and a tone that balances humour with genuine emotion, '[FILM]' suggests that, sometimes, the craziest twists of life are the ones that push us to grow and connect with others, bringing out the best in us even when we least expect it.
'[FILM]' is a Spanish production that will be released in cinemas on 13 February 2026.
