Trailer 'Julian' (2025)

The trailer for 'Julian' introduces the latest offering from Belgian cinema in biographical form, helmed by director Cato Kusters. The film explores a story of love and commitment through a journey that transcends geographical borders and social conventions, with a tone that shifts between intimate emotion and shared adventure.

The preview opens with a declaration of intent filled with affection: "Je te quitterai jamais" ("I will never leave you"), a promise that serves as the emotional backbone of everything that follows. From there, the trailer unfolds images of a couple who decide to celebrate their love by marrying in every country where it is legally possible for them to do so, a decision that the trailer itself puts at 22 destinations. Canada, Spain, and New York are mentioned explicitly, and the overall tone combines the lightness of a romantic comedy with the symbolic weight of a broader statement.

The cast is led by Nina Meurisse and Laurence Roothooft, who portray the central couple. They are joined in the project by Rosalia Cuevas, Peter Seynaeve, and Zach Hatch.
