Helena Wittman directs this investment film that takes the viewer on a journey between sea and land, from France to eastern Europe. It will launch on cinemas in march 31.
Ida (Angeliki Papoulia) is the captain of her five-man crew. Together they will make a trip on the boat where they live, passing through Marseille, where the discreet and secret male world of the French Foreign Legion catches their attention and they decide to continue their route through the Mediterranean Sea. One of the stops of the crossing is Corsica, which serves as a resting point before heading to the historic garrison of the legion in Algeria. It is here that borders and certainties will fade as seafaring life produces an empathetic feeling of mutual understanding between Ida and her ship's crew.
'Human FLowers of Flesh' is directed by Helena Wittman. The cast includes Angeliki Papoulia ('Lobster'), Vladimir Vulevic ('Kako Sam Pobedio Lepak I Bronzu'), Denis Lavant ('Boy meets girl'), Ferhat Mouhali ('Ne nous racontez d'histoires!'), Mauro Soares ('La portuguesa'), Gustavo de Mattos Jahn, Stefos Danek ('Träum weiter, Julia!') and newcomer Ingo Martens.
