Plot
The famous singer and songwriter John Lennon read in an interview what 21 year old Steve Tilston said about the influence of large amounts of money when it comes to feel and write songs, and decided reply him with a letter. This message was lost for decades until it reached its destination at the hands of the artist who has inspired the film 'Danny Collins'. And it is that the protagonist of this dramedy, played by Al Pacino, change the name but not the story that serves as a starting point for a tale of redemption which also features the participation of Jennifer Garner, Christopher Plummer, Bobby Cannavale and Annette Bening. So the 70's rock star Danny Collins, despite the passing of the years, has always refused to abandon his wild life, until the time this letter reaches his hands. Lennon's words completely change the way he sees the life of this artist, who decided at that moment that the day has come to mend relations with his family and himself.
