It has been reported that the 'The Dark Knight Rises', 'Mad Max' and 'Legend' actor, Tom Hardy, was spotted chasing after and successfully catching a moped thief in London. The actor was seen running after a man down a road, through gardens and even through a building site after Hardy clocked him stealing a moped.

The witness who saw Hardy catch the victim in Richmond, southwest London, claims that once he had managed to get his hands on the thief he proudly exclaimed to bystanders: "I caught the c***!"

22 year old Arun Pullen, told The Sun "it was mental- like he'd switched to superhero mode in an action movie. Two boys on the nicked moped had jumped a red light and smashed into a car.

The witness went on to explain that "Tom must have been walking down the road. He went off like a shot in pursuit and looked furious. If the kid had been dumb enough to resist I reckon Tom would have given him a good hiding."

Whilst becoming one of the most famous names in the industry thanks to roles in the likes of 'Warrior', 'The Revenant' and his new TV drama 'Taboo', it also looks like Hardy has found the ability to transfer his superhero skills from the screen into the real world after this recent incident.

Hardy has been heavily rumoured to replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond. Despite the fact that the actor has refused to comment on these rumours, Hardy is certainly setting himself up for the role with acts like this.
