28 Years Later

28 years after the rage virus was unleashed from a medical research laboratory at the University of Cambridge, the world has been plunged into chaos. The infected, who were once human, now roam as uncontrolled hordes, driven by insatiable rage. Survivors, scattered across the planet, struggle to find ways to stay alive, often in precarious conditions.

Among them, a small group has managed to settle on a remote island, connected to the mainland by a bridge that seems on the verge of collapsing. This community, made up of a handful of families, takes refuge behind a rudimentary fortress made of wood and stone, protecting themselves from the infected that constantly lurk at the shore.

On this island live Thomas, a middle-aged man, and his son Lucas, a 16-year-old boy, who have learned to adapt to the brutality of the new world. One day, after receiving a strange radio message, Thomas decides to embark on a reconnaissance mission to the British mainland, leaving Lucas behind. Together they venture into the devastated territory, where they discover that humanity has gone beyond what is imaginable.

In their journey, they face dark secrets, indescribable horrors, and forgotten wonders, while trying to unveil the true nature of the virus and the future of humanity. As they delve deeper into the infected territory, they realize that perhaps the greatest danger is not the virus itself, but humanity, willing to do anything to survive.
