A la deriva

Anna returns from Africa, where she worked for two years for an NGO as a nurse in an area of conflict. She is now contracted to be a security guard in a health centre in the outskirts of Barcelona. After breaking up with her partner and leaving her home, a fellow colleague leaves her with an auto-home as a provisional place to stay. A few weeks pass as Anna camps in the dessert. On her journey, she decides to park up in a service area just off the motorway. On a night shift, she meets a youth, who has been hospitalised, can't walk and furthermore refuses to reveal his identity. She feels a growing attraction, that will materialise into a dark relationship full of dependency. However, Anna can get the experiences of Africa out of her head.
