Plot
A Monster with a Thousand Heads is the last film of Uruguayan director Rodrigo Plá. Starring Jana Raluy, Sebastian Aguirre Boeda, Daniel Gimenez Cacho and Ursula Pruneda among others. The script is signed by Laura Santollo, and the film takes us into the life of Sonia Bonet (Jana Raluy), a woman living a desperate situation due to corruption of her insurance company. So she decides to take it into her own hands in order to get the treatment he needs her husband to live on and start a fight against bureaucracy. In 75 minutes we get into this drama and familiar thriller with situations never imagined by Sonia Bonet. Will she be able to get the needed treatment to survive? Can she get out of the conflict situation they are?

Jana Raluy, who plays Sonia Bonet, stated that her father had died of cancer shortly before filming began and this helped her emotionally with developing her character.

The writer
Laura Santullo wrote the screenplay based on her novel by the same name of the film and is the wife of director Rodrigo Plá. She has written the screenplay for all four of his full length feature films.
