Synopsis

Documentary directed by Les Blank ('I Went to the Dance', 'Innocents Abroad'). Filmed between 1972 and 1974 but could not be seen until the death of the documentarian. He could see two years after the death of Blank in a special pass in New York. This is a review in the life of songwriter and rock singer Leon Russell. Blank enters his life and shows his day, his friends, his colleagues, a whole generation of artists. Northeast Oklahoma is the scenario that portrays Blank Russell and several concerts of his live band. An artist of a particular time and a rock community for a generation. A documentary fact how to Blank liked his works, amateur style and rolled freely. A beautiful and rough piece of an era and serves to showcase the talents of an era.
