A Sicilian Dream

'A Sicilian Dream' is a documentary that focuses on the famous Targa Florio race that was held in the Sicilian mountains. The film follows the figure of Vincenzo Florio, son of a Sicilian nobleman and motor lover, who created this crazy competition that finished conquering the hearts of drivers and manufacturers, while getting Sicily back on the international scene. The film blends the drama of the Belle Epoque with the spectacular scenery offered by this island, while exploring the memories of those who lived this race that will probably be too dangerous to be held today. 'Pistons Passions Pleasures - A Sicilian dream' is a beautiful film that brings together the man, the race and the island featuring Alain de Cadenet and Francesco da Mosto.
