A Special Lady

Hyun-jung, a once prostitute manages to rise above the ranks in a gang to become the second in command. In a male dominated sector, her role is well sought after, and the protagonist soon finds herself the target of a jealous gang member and a prosecutor, who decide to team up and unite against a common enemy. Hyun-jung has managed so far to keep the son she gave birth to whilst in jail a secret, but it's not long before the secret escapes. Her enemies, who will stop at nothing to get to her, use Hyun-jung's son against her, forcing the protagonist to fight for her child's safety. The whole ordeal would prove easier, if the son knew who she was to begin with. 'A Special Lady' is directed by Lee An-kyu.
