A Woman's Life

In the year 1819, Normandy. A young woman who had left of convent and with one thousand dreams facing her, comes back to her village. She still is so innocent as when was a child, but, suddenly, all her hopes break when she is obliged to marry with a old man. Her life changes of 360 degrees. This co-production between French and Belgium tells the story how Jeanne is obliged to grow up suddenly, it will also show that hopeless woman has an intense and forbidden love in secret.

This movie had starred by Judith Chemia and directed by Stéphane Brizé had been praised for the critics of many media like Hollywood Reporter, El Mundo or Il Messaggero.

This movie is based on the novel with the same name 'Une vie' of Guy de Monpassant.
