Alien: Romulus

The 'Alien' saga returns after 7 years since the last installment with 'Alien: Romulus'. This film will closely follow how a group of young people encounters terrifying aliens (the Xenomorphs) while exploring a seemingly abandoned space station. The kids go from being alone and calm to being in danger and surrounded by these beings that only seek to kill them in a brutal manner. They must try to fight in a confined, dark, and hostile space to survive.

Directed by Fede Álvarez and produced by Ridley Scott and Walter Hill, the horror film returns after 45 years since the first installment of the franchise. It has been written by the director Fede Álvarez along with Rodo Sayagues and Dan O'Bannon.

The events take place between two of the previous films, 'Alien' from 1979 and 'Aliens' from 1986, to expand the timeline with new confrontations that promise to bring back the claustrophobia and tension that define the saga. The main cast includes actors Isabela Merced ('Madame Web') as Kay, Cailee Spaeny ('Priscilla') as Rain Carradine, Archie Renaux ('Upgrade: First Class') as Tyler, and David Jonsson ('Love in Rye Lane') as Andy, an android.
