Anniversary

'Anniversary' is a U.S. thriller directed by Jan Komasa with a screenplay by Lori Rosene-Gambino. It is a production by Fifth Season and Chockstone Pictures set to premiere in the United States on October 29, 2025. The film explores the family division that the growing political tension is causing in part of today's society in the United States.

It is the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Ellen and Paul Taylor's wedding. Their son, Josh, invites his new girlfriend, Liz, to the silver wedding celebrations. Upon introducing her to his parents, Ellen quickly recognizes her as a former student of hers with radical political ideas. Not surprisingly, Liz seems to be associated with a new radical ideological movement called "The Change".

Liz's presence and her ideas begin to create divisions within the Taylor family. Josh starts to be seduced by this new movement, while Ellen challenges her husband, who also seems to believe in it. Thus, what begins as a celebration soon transforms into a political battle where personal grievances intertwine with ideological and familial ones.

'Anniversary' features an ensemble cast led by Diane Lane and Kyle Chandler. Zoey Deutch, Mckenna Grace, Dylan O'Brien, Madeline Brewer, and Phoebe Dynevor complete the film's cast, which was shot in Dublin. It was one of the few titles that obtained a special permit to continue filming during the 2023 actors' and writers' strike.
