Blue Rai's reviews
Media reviews
Cinemanía
Not only the film refers to the universes of Gondry, Tarantino and Kevin Smith (it's a shame the dialogues aren't so good), it also reformulates disperse discoveries in our last cine, from 'Requirements to Be a Normal Person' to 'The Bar'.
El Mundo
Shot in only two sets and with barely ten characters, the film wages between parody and homage to romantic comedy and cinephile manifest with a lot of references (the fact that most of the movie happens in a video store helps a lot) to an infinity of films, although it could fundamentally be a hybrid between 'Clerks' and 'The Bar'. The dialogues ooze freshness and it works as satire of social media and youtubers with a lot of fundament and a nice cast who makes of 'Blue Rai' a nice film. Very small, but nice.
