Plot
'Breathe' is based on the true story of Robin Cavendish, an intelligent, attractive, athletic and adventurous young man who, having found the woman of his life, Diana, is paralyzed as a result of polio disease. Although at first Robin wants death, with the help of his wife he will realize that he can still enjoy life and live it to the fullest. Thus, both will manage to change their life and that of all those around them in this inspiring story of overcoming. Robin not only became an example of overcoming, but also in the extraordinary case of the man who has lived more with assisted breathing. Andy Serkis ('The Lord of the Rings', 'The War of the Planet of the Apes') makes his directorial debut directing Andrew Garfield, Oscar nominee for Best Actor in a Leading Role for 'Hacksaw Ridge,' and Claire Foy, winner of the Golden Globe for Best Actress in TV Drama Series for 'The Crown'.
