Captive

Based on a real event. Ashley Smith (Kate Mara) is a single mother who lives alone and try to combat her strong addiction to drugs. With a life where her demons are the only companions of coexistence, Brian Nichols (David Oyelowo) will come, a fugitive who has murdered the judge in charge of his case and has escaped from prison. Hostage from her home, she is forced to coexist with Nichols, but they don't know that both will find their way to a new life, thanks to their experiences and a book by Rick Warren.
