Caramelo

'Caramelo' is a Brazilian drama co-written and directed by Diego Freitas. A production by Migdal Filmes for the streaming platform Netflix, which premieres worldwide on October 8, 2025. The film stars actor Rafael Vitti and the dog Amendoim.

Pedro is a young chef who lives alone and is about to fulfill one of his dreams: to manage a restaurant. However, life intervenes, and just when things start to look up for him, he is diagnosed with a brain tumor. At that moment, Caramelo, a friendly mixed-breed street dog of caramel color, also appears in his life, following him everywhere. Soon, Pedro adopts the adorable dog, who will form a tender and personal bond with our protagonist.

A film that aims to evoke emotions and make you laugh, while also reflecting on the connection that humans have with dogs, as Pedro embarks on a personal journey to rediscover himself.

'Caramelo' stars Rafael Vitti as Pedro. The film's cast also includes Arianne Botelho, Noemia Oliveira, Ademara, Kelzy Ecard, Bruno Vinicius, Roger Gobeth, and Olívia Araújo. It also features a special appearance by chef Paola Carosella.
