Plot
Olivia Brontë is a Hollywood actress who travels to Switzerland for a photo shoot. In this country, in a hotel, she will meet Tristan de Val, a Spanish philosopher whom she already met almost twenty years ago. They haven't had contact since then, but this reunion will make them return to the past, question the paths that each one has followed and reconsider their future. Tristan is pessimistic and has accepted that he is alone and locked in his own mind. On the other hand, Olivia refuses to admit that she has given up on her dreams. The color of the sky is a romantic drama that explores the different existentialist themes, such as the meaning of life, the weight of time, the constant failure in the search for happiness or the idea of success.
'Color of Heaven' is the directorial debut of Joan Marc Zapata, who is also the film's screenwriter alongside Lluís Van Eeckhout. The feature film stars the winner of a Goya Award for Best Supporting Actress, Marta Etura, who will play Olivia Brontë, and Francesc Garrido, who will play Tristán de Val.
The film is a co-production between Spain and Switzerland produced by Guillem Luna and Ivan Geisser. The most part of 'Color of Heaven' was filmed in Switzerland.
