Dumplin'

Willowdena Dickson, "Dumplin" (Danielle Macdonald), is a young overweight girl who lives in a small town in Texas, her life is far from being ideal, as she is the plus-size daughter of Rosie Dickson (Jennifer Aniston), a former beauty pageant. Moved by her own personal motivation and the support of a loved family member, her aunt, Dumplin decides to join Miss Teen Bluebonnet, the beauty contest hosted by her mother. She joins in to protest agianst the beauty standards set by this type of contests. At first, she starts doing it as a joke, but everything changes when, inspired by her, many other girls start joining the event as a protest, what starts a true revolution in the beauty contest, opening the way for a positive body image movement.
