'Fast9' trivia and fun facts
Location
'Fast & Furious' always shows beautiful scenes from around the world (for example, the fifth part was filmed in Rio de Janerio and the sixth part was filmed in Canary Islands). In this ninth movie, part of the scenes were filmed in Georgia.
Shooting
Vin Diesel posted a video to social media indicating that filming had begun on June 27, 2019 for this movie.
Big party
The release for the first trailer happen during an enormous event in Miami, with a concert with performances by Cardi B (who is part of the cast), Wiz Khalifa, Ludacris, Charlie Puth and Ozuna.
Priorities
The film was pushed back to 2020, due to Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham starring in a spinoff to the franchise.
Broken family
Tyrese Gibson announced on November 1st, 2017 that he would not be in the movie if Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is in the film. The two do not get along and Tyrese is refusing to work with him.
John Cena
Vin Diesel said the reason for casting john Cena as Jacob Toretto was that he felt it was a sign from Paul Walker. Cena showed up by chance in Diesel's gym, and he took that as a gift from his friend 'Pablo', as he told in his Instagram account.
Official Hashtag
Due to han's death in 'Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift' and the redemption to his killer Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), the saga fans created the hashtag #JusticeForHan asking for more respect to the character. With the first trailer for 'Fast 9' and the revelation that han is alive, the hashtag has become oficial (it shows an emoji from the saga) and there's even a reference to it in the character poster for Han.
