Plot
Ghoul is a malevolent spirit of a condemned murderer, Andrei Chikatilo, one of the most fearsome serial murderers that hit Russia in the 70s and 80s who brutally killed many innocent victims and then ate them. Three Americans decide to travel to Ukraine to investigate what happened and venture into a forest to reach the refuge where lies one of the survivor of an epidemic of cannibalism that swept the area. During the trip, paranormal events in the spirit of Chikatilo come to devour the three protagonists, who have to struggle to survive in a cursed place start to happen. Directed by Petr Bok. It is a co-production between Czech Republic and Ukraine and the Ukrainian has success in the box office.
