First independent film starring by the 'Suicide Squad' female main character, Harley Quinn, known as the Joker's girlfriend and the villain of DC Comics, recently interpreted by the actress Margot Robbie. The plot is about some of the most important females characters of the comic company, like Quinn, Catwoman, Poison Ivy or the called "Birds of the Prey".

David Ayer, the filmmaker of the prior 'Suicide Squad' and the director of movies like 'Street Kings', 'Fury' or 'Ten', will direct the Harley Quinn's spin-off, with Margot Robbie reprising the role. Even when the actress is known for this role, she has made other important collaborations like 'The wolf of Wall Street' or the real action film 'The Legend of Tarzan'.
