'Happy End' is the new film by the director Michael Haneke ('The White Ribbon', 'Cache'). On this particular occasion, the Austrian director narrate us the dramatic story of a French family of a high level from a highly critical and satirical narrative point of view. The family in question lives far from reality in a bourgeois bubble, and they ignore the problems that go beyond their porch (located in the north of France). A few meters from his home the city of Calais is situated, a port area where refugee camps are being prepared. Concerned only by their own benefit they do not seem overwhelmed by what happens to these people. The film brings together some of the director's favorite themes such as dysfunctional and problematic families, revenge or guilt.
