Her Smell

On 'Her Smell' we see Becky Something, a rock superstar who used to fill stadiums at the 90´s decade thanks to the concerts that she played with her female musician trio, called Something She. However, now she is so far way from the multitudinous concerts for the artist, because she plays nowadays at little venues at the same time that she face her reality. Becky will deal with her motherhood and with an environment that are putting in danger her stardom, because of the rising of new musician generations. In the life of this mostly exhausted artist there is also space for the drugs, which derail a national tour in which she was playing. This takes Becky to sume herself into the most deepest loneliness and isolation, whereas she deals with her addictions. After all of that, the musician will try to recuperate her creativity and the inspiration that take her and her band to the success at their best years as an artists. But she will have also to fight against their internal demons to being sober.

'Her Smell' is a movie directed by Alex Ross Perry and it counts as a star in with the actress Elisabeth Moss ('The Handmaid´s Tale) and with an all-star cast with, for instance, Cara Delevingne ('Suicide Squad') or Dan Stevens ('Downton Abbey').
