Plot
A diary called 'My disease and me' by Sakura Yamauchi gets to Yo's hands, her classmate. In the diary, Sakura reveals she suffers a pancreas terminal illness and she has very short time of life ahead. He's an offish high school student whose favourite hobby is reading books alone. She is the classic popular girl in the high school. Despite their personalities are very different, the secret they share will make them unite during the months Sakura will live, in a relationship they don't even know how to name but that will give them happy and, at the same time, hard moments.
This film is an adaptation of the graphic novel 'I Want To Eat Your Pancreas', written by Yoru Sumino and illustrated by Izumi Kirihara.

In 2014 Yoru Sumino started to post his novel 'I Want to Eat Your Pancreas' on a webside. A year later, Futabasha's editorial published it in papel with Ioundraw's illustration. When the manga's get adapted, the illustration were made by Idumi Kirihara.
