I'm Gilda

'I Am Gilda' tells the story of the Argentinian cumbia singer and composer Myriam Alejandra Bianchi, most commonly known as Gilda. The artist, whose career started after following an add, had to overcome the initial rejection of her family, but her voice and her charisma made her find a place in the stardom. She passed away when she was 34 years old in a car accident, but her figure was mythicized after her death.

The movie is directed by Lorena Muñoz ('Los próximos pasados). The cast is formed by Natalia Oreiro ('El médico alemán'), Lautaro Delgado ('Ruleta rusa'), Javier Drolas ('El padre de mis hijos'), Ángela Torres ('Patito Feo') and Diego Cremonesi ('Kryptonita'), among others.
