'The Addams Family' is the eighth movie adaptation of a comic completely made with CGI. Before this one, there were 'Over the Hedge', 'TMNT - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles', 'Big Hero 6', 'The Peanuts Movie', 'The Lego Batman Movie', 'Smurfs: The Lost Village' and 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse'.
A special license plate
In the license plate of Morticia and Gomez's car it's written "CHAS" in honor of the creator of the story, Charles Addams.
Stars arriving to animation
It's the third animated film for Charlize Theron ('Astroboy' and 'Kubo and the Two Strings'), and the second one for Oscar Isaac ('Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse').
Everybody to Westfield
In the movie, the Addams Family moves to Westfield, New Jersey, where their original creator Charles Addams was born.
