Plot
A 2014 French comedy-drama film directed by Alain Resnais. It was adapted from the play Life of Riley by Alan Ayckbourn. 'Life of Riley' had its premiere in the competition section of the 64th Berlin International Film Festival, just three weeks before Resnais died, where it won the Alfred Bauer Prize. In the midst of rehearsals for a new play, amateur dramatics proponents Colin and Kathryn receive the shattering news that their friend George is fatally ill and only has a few months to live. 'Life of Riley' was awarded the Silver Bear Alfred Bauer Prize "for a feature film that opens new perspectives" in the Berlin Film Festival.
