Mia and Mel are best friends. One is pragmatic, straightforward and minimalist, whilst the other wants to earn their fortune and live a luxurious lifestyle. Together the two form the backbone of small beauty business that they have built up from the ground. Life seems to be going their way and it seems as though they are finally fulfilling their goals. Their business is not as safe as they would like, however. They have many accumulated debts and are about to go bankrupt if they do not find a way to fix this situation, a challenging conundrum given that each one has a different vision for their company. Mia and Mel manage to persuade successful businesswoman and cosmetic tycoon Claire Luna to consider investing in their business, though it's not long before Luna has her eye on the whole business. Although at first everything appears to be going smoothly, this decision soon begins to threaten their long-lasting friendship. This movie is directed by Miguel Areta and the script is written by Sam Pitman and Adam Cole-Kelly. In the role of the three protagonists are Tiffany Haddish ('Girl Plan') as Mia, Rose Byrne ('Insidious', 'The Last Key') as Mel and Salma Hayek ('Beatriz at Dinner') as Claire Luna. The rest of the cast is formed by Jennifer Collidge ('Two Girls Without White'), Billy Porter ('Pose'), Karan Soni ('Deadpool'), Melissa Saint-Amand ('Ozark') and Vanessa Merrell ('Faking It')
