Famous murderer Lizzie Borden is the protagonist of this thriller focused on the biographical story about Lizzie's character. When her parents are murdered, an investigation to find the guilty begins. Meanwhile, a new maid arrives to Borden's house, Bridget, who attracts the attention of Lizzie really soon. Bridget is shy and obedient, but with the time both start a close relationship and Bridget will discover the darkest side of the woman for she works...

Directed by Craig William Macneill, who has worked in series such as 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina', 'Lizzie' is starred by Chloë Sevigny ('Zodiac'), who plays Lizzie, while Kristen Stewart ('Personal Shopper') gives life to Bridget. The rest of the cast is completed by Jamey Sheridan, Fiona Shaw, Kim Dickens, Denis O'Hare, Jay Huguley y Jody Matzer.
