Plot

'Madame Bovary' is the newest cinematographic adaptation from one of the most popular novel of the XIX Century written by french author Gustav Flaubert. Sophie Barthes, a french filmmaker, is set to direct the film starring Mia Wasikowska, Paul Giamatti and Ezra Miller among others.

Set in the region of Normandy, in France , a young Emma Bovary decides to marry a small-town doctor just to leave her parent's house in a pig farm far away from the city. While she enjoys her new married life, she will begin to see the world through different eyes and be friends with members of the high society that will change her way of understanding life. Unhappy, she will seek excitement outside her marriage away from her mundane existence.
