Live-action debut of Spider-Man-related characters: Cassandra Webb (Madame Web), Julia Carpenter, Anya Corazón, Mattie Franklin and Ezekiel Sims. All the women (except Webb) have taken over from Spider-Woman, previously played by actress Jessica Drew.
Sydney Sweeney
It was announced in March 2022 that actress Sydney Sweeney had joined the cast in an undisclosed role. She told Variety that she's been buying a lot of Spider-Man comic books in preparation.
Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland ruled out
Sony reportedly had plans for either Andrew Garfield or Tom Holland to appear as Spider-Man, but ultimately cut all references to Spider-Man from the final film.
