April 1956, Spain. Spanish protectorate over Morocco ends with the withdrawal of Spanish troops from the continent; allowing Morocco to celebrate its independence in the North. At the same time, Santiago, a young lawyer from an influential and wealthy family from the regime, arrives to Tetouan looking for a family who seems to have some sort of connection with him. Santiago will see himself immerse in a trip to his past in order to know his origins.
