Notre Dame on Fire

The film recreates the fire that hit the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris in April 2019. The fire caused its iconic spire, built between the 12th and 14th centuries, and the roof of the Gothic cathedral of the French capital to be destroyed. The foundation stone of the church was laid in 1163 and since its completion Notre Dame has represented Catholicism, the Parisian skyline and has been one of the world?s busiest monuments with around 13 million visitors a year.

Élodie Navarre, Chloé Jouannet, Jesuthasan Antonythasan, Kevin Garnichat, Samuel Labarthe, Jeremie Laheurte, Maximilien Seweryn, Daniel Horn, Vassili Schneider, Sebastien Lalanne, Ava Baya, Jules Sadoughi, Tony Le Bacq, Jean-Paul Bordes, Nathan Gruffy, Loic Djani, Pierre Lottin, Michaël Estarque, Reshny Massaka and Billel Sakhri are the actors that make up the main cast. Meanwhile, director Jean-Jacques Annaud co-wrote the screenplay with Thomas Bidegain.
