Paradise Road

In the middle of the Second World War, a number of women from different places are evacuated from their homes to travel to the United States, one of the few places where they can be safe. However, everything gets complicated when the boat in which they travel is attacked by japanese aircraft and sinks off the coast of Sumatra. Then, the women are captured by the japanese and they are introduced in a field of concentration in the middle of the jungle. There, they will live as women prisoners and will suffer the worst humiliations and tortures that they can imagine. In this tragic situation, the only thing that can save them is hope and friendship that unites them. 'Pradise Road' is a film based on true events.
