Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran

In 1998, the Indian Army conducted nuclear tests in the city of Pokhran under the direction of Dr APJ Abdul. Back then, the results of these experiments were confidential but after being declassified, they are now told in 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran', helmed by Abhishek Sharma, director of 'Tere Bin Laden' and its sequel 'Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive'. The film talks about how these experiments managed to change the direction of India in the international field. John Abraham, the leading actor, has defined 'Parmanu' as "an ode to the Army and the scientists, who although ordinary people, truly accomplished extraordinary feats". Actress Diana Penty joins him as the female lead for the film.
