Plot

Divine who is under the pseudonym "Babs Johnson" is a criminal that is in search and capture by the FBI and is refugee living in a caravan in Baltimore, in whose central Hall are two flamencos that give title to the film, with His obese mother Edie who is obsessed with eggs, his delinquent son Crackers and his sister, Cotton. Babs Johnson is considered by the local newspapers as the "most filthy person in the world", and for this reason the Marble marriage, a heterosexual couple selling heroin and stealing babies, will fight to remove that title.
