Plot
In a time and place deliberately imprecise, where repression is exercised under the guise of institutional normality, a young and promising undercover agent is recruited by a police unit specialized in hunting down homosexual men. His job consists of frequenting bars, cinemas, and clandestine meeting spaces, gaining the trust of his targets, and provoking their arrest at the precise moment. Meticulous, disciplined, and convinced that his personal sacrifice is the necessary price to rise within the system, the agent follows orders without asking questions… until he meets one of his targets.
The encounter, initially calculated as just another operation, transforms into an intimate relationship that disarms his certainties. Through everyday gestures, shared silences, and unexpected complicity, the agent begins to experience a desire he had learned to deny and fear. As surveillance intensifies and his superiors pressure for the final raid to be closed, the line between work and personal life becomes increasingly blurred.
Divided between loyalty to the uniform and an emotional truth impossible to repress, the agent begins to challenge orders and commit small acts of disobedience that threaten to expose him. What is at stake is no longer just his career, but his identity and his survival within a system that does not allow for cracks. A direct heir to the spirit of A la caza, this story of love and betrayal turns the police thriller into a suffocating portrait of desire as a subversive force and the high cost of loving in a world built to betray you.

Carmen Emmi
Director Carmen Emmi considered having Russell Tovey play Andrew a dream come true, since he's a huge fan of the HBO series Looking (2014) and wasn't sure if he would be interested in the role.
