Plot

Fifth movie of the anime movie saga based on the videogames of 'Pokémon'. Every year the city of Alto Mare celebrates a special race of Water type Pokémon through its channels; and this time, Ash and Misty are the main competitors. Although Ash does not manage to win to Misty, he manages to attract the attention of a mysterious girl who rescues him from Annie and Oakley, two roguish female members of Team Rocket. The mysterious girl is, in fact, the legendary Eon Pokémon, Latias, who has the ability to pretend to be a known person in front of strangers. Latias will introduce Bianca, the young woman from whom the Pokémon took its form, to Lorenzo, Bianca's grandfather and the other Eon Pokémon, Latios, Latias' brother. Both are in charge of protecting the city of Alto Mare. However, Annie and Oakley want to capture the two legendary Pokémon, to gain control of a gem called Soul Dew, which has immense power. However, its misuse can cause the Alto Mare channels to flood and thereby destroy the entire city.
