Project Hail Mary

'Project Salvation' follows the story of science teacher Ryland Grace, who wakes up in outer space, inside a ship and light-years from home, of which he, however, remembers nothing. Ryland also doesn't remember who he is or how he got there, although little by little he will start to regain his memory and his mission comes back to him: he must solve the mystery of an unknown and mysterious substance that is causing the sun to go extinct. To solve this grave issue, he resorts to his scientific knowledge, with his usual and unorthodox ideas in order to save Earth. He won't do it alone; in this inhospitable environment, an unexpected friendship arises that will help him in his important mission. 

Ryan Gosling is the actor who steps into the shoes of Professor Ryland Grace and he is joined in the cast by figures such as Sandra Hüller, Milana Vayntrub, Lionel Boyce, Ken Leung, Liz Kingsman, and James Ortiz, among others. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller direct this script by Drew Goddard and Andy Weir, based on a novel of the same name by the latter. 

'Project Hail Mary' is produced by Amazon MGM and distributed by the same company. In Spain, this nearly three-hour-long film will hit theaters on March 20, 2026.
