Plot

Inspired loosely by the novel 'To end Eddy Bellegueule', an autobiographical novel by French writer Édouard Louis, the film tells how Marvin Bijou, a young man from a village in northern France, the son of a humble family, creates a piece of theater that narrates his own life, how he suffered school bullying as a child because he was homosexual, how he suffered sexual abuse from those colleagues who beat him, how he suffered the rejection of his family when they knew he was gay and, in addition, he wanted to dedicate himself to the theater, how he fled from his reality and went to Paris to study dramatic arts, how he found it difficult to accept himself, to come from the lower class and be despised by the gays of the Parisian bourgeois environment, how he met his lover, Roland, a man much older than him that will help him become an actor, a work of his life, in which the great Isabelle Huppert will accompany him as a patron. Because Marvin Bijou ceased to exist to make way for Martin Clément, the young man reborn from pain and suffering who knew how to turn it into a literary work. Hide full plot... Show full plot
